    Friday was the culmination of the students planning for a Primary Sports Festival which was followed later on in the day with one last get togther to celebrate two fantastic weeks together...

  • 10th & 11th Jul - Heading Off To Norfolk

    After a busy day in London the students were back at school for 8.45 ready to set off for two days of Camping. The group were heading to Wells, Cromer and Hunstanton and luckily the weather was nice! After packing up the bus the group headed to Wells next to sea for a fish and chip lunch.

  • Monday 8th July - Sharing Chinese Skills in Primary Schools

    Today we headed off to two more primary schools to share traditional chinese skills like calligraphy.

    Today the Gold Apple students along with Emily and Jayden went into Primary schools to teach the younger students a range of traditional Chinese activities.

    Today was another day in school and the Gold Apple students had the chance to experience a full day of lessons with the Jack Hunt students. The Chinese pupils again went with year 10 students to GCSE lessons, they attended subjects such as French, Art, Design technology and PE.

  • Wednesday 3rd July - Inspiration in Cambridge

    Today, our Gold Apple students went out to explore the Cambridge University where they have been looking forward to for years.

  • Tuesday 2nd July - A Memorable Visit

    The students arrived bright and early at Jack Hunt in preparation for meeting the Mayor of Peterborough. All of the students involved in the exchange had been invited along. This meant 20 students from the Gold Apple, 20 students from Jack Hunt School and 2 students from Sir John Fisher headed to town hall.

  • Monday 1st July - Our Chinese Visitors Arrive

    At 6.30pm the Gold Apple students landed at London Heathrow. After travelling back to Peterborough all students were collected from school to meet their host family for the duration of their trip. Both the Chinese students and host families were nervous but following a full day of travel the students were ready for bed, excited about their first full day in the UK.

  • Last Night

    It is hard to believe that it is our final night.  As I write this I can hear the sounds of students jumping up and down on suitcases, straining to close zips and struggling to squeeze one more waving cat, jumping frog or pair of chopsticks into their suitcases.
