Children In Need Day

Every year students and staff show their support for the BBC Children in Need campaign and as always, this year they did it with great gusto!

Sixth form  students we given the option to wear fancy dress in return for a donation towards the Children in need appeal.  There was an amazing array of costumes from Ballerinas & Fairies to Comic Book Characters and Movie Icons.

The lower school also showed their support for both Children in Need and the Movember campaign by sporting fake moustaches inspired by the many teachers who have been growing their real moustaches this month to raise awareness of Prostate Cancer.

Staff Joined in with the Fancy Dress theme or by donning spots and great fun was had by all.  There were lots of fundraising activites going on in school during the day too and the final total made from the day was:

£1021.97

Thanks to all the staff & students who made today such a great success either getting dressed up or organissing fundraising events.
