POSH Chairman Visits Year 11 Students

Jack Hunt School recently welcomed the Peterborough United Chairman, Darragh MacAnthony.  Darragh talked to our Year 11 GCSE students about his life, business and The Posh.  He offered some helpful advice and useful tips to students about their futures with job hunting and interview techniques were a particular focus.

However, it was about life at the London Road club that students were really keen to find out more.  Questions ranged from ‘Why Peterborough United?’ and ‘Which players are the club likely to sign?’ to ‘Is George Boyd likely to still be here in February?’ All of which were honestly answered.  There was even a cheeky offer of his management expertise from Gary Jarvis (11CWD) which was sadly rebuffed.

Afterwards shirts and season tickets were signed and photographs taken.  Posh fan Joe Kelly (10NRN) presented Darragh with a small gift in thanks.  The consensus from students was that it was a valuable experience and Darragh was fantastic.  In return, the Chairman was full of praise for the students of Jack Hunt School and thoroughly enjoyed himself.
