Jack Hunt Nominated for Living Sport Awards 2015

Jack Hunt School is again well represented amongst the shortlisted nominees for this year's Living Sport Awards. These awards recognise sporting achievements across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough and to be nominated is wonderful.

Former Jack Hunt student James Fox has been nominated in the Disabled Sports Performer of the Year Award category recognising his outstanding achievements in rowing - this year he was part of a team who became World Champions. James is now training to secure a place on the Paralympic Team for the Rio Olympics next year (see our interview with James later this week).

Meanwhile, Year 11 student Jamie Scholes has been nominated for the Young Sports Performer Award after a fantastic year in swimming, working extremely hard to gain both National and International representation.

Finally, Jack Hunt School has also been nominated in the School of the Year category, recognising the work of the school within the field of PE and Sport, both in school and the local community.

The Sports Awards ceremony will be taking place on Thursday 26th November.
