Big Finish Fundraisers Rewarded

At the end of the summer term in July we held our Annual Big Finish, a day of fundraising and fun across the school. Mrs Brace’s tutor group raised the most money by hosting a school disco and selling soft drinks. On Thursday the 24 November the form group were rewarded for their hard work with a session at Bounce followed by a meal together at Nandos.

The form said they won by “building on past mistakes from last year". This year they didn’t want to lose again, so they pulled out all the stops putting up posters and making sure everyone knew when and where the disco was. They also sold drinks such as Sprite and Fanta to maximise the profits. They said “It was lots of hassle but it was worth it.”

Their efforts were worth while as they raised lots of money and won the chance to choose were they wanted to go as a reward. The form decided next year they are going to hold another disco but this time if they win they are going to choose to go to Alton towers!

The big Finish has been running for many years and this form raised over £165 for charity last year alone. This is an amazing achievement and shows how the whole tutor group worked together to raise the highest amount of money to win The Big Finish.
