 Head/lead tutor: Geena Hird AISTD, LLCM 

Geena began her training at the YEM Theatre School in Hampshire where she studied musical theatre and all dance disciplines. She continued her performance studies at Redroofs Theatre School where she graduated with distinction. Geena performed in many productions including Midsummer Night’s Dream, Cinderella, My Fair Lady and Charlotte’s Web before beginning her teacher training in Cecchetti Classical Ballet. She joined the Jack Hunt Theatre & Dance School three years ago and has now taken on the role of Head of Jack Hunt Dance & Theatre School as well as lead tutor in ballet, jazz , tap and musical theatre.

Poppy Mason BA PGCE

Poppy has been a member of Jack Hunt Theatre & Dance Academy since 1992 when she first began her dance training with Mrs Garfield. She was a Cecchetti Ballet Associate and also worked as the employed assistant within the dance school, helping the younger students in their ballet classes. Poppy has worked as a professional dancer all over Europe, including Portugal, Norway, Denmark and Poland to name a few. She has also worked at Disneyland Paris as a dancer in the parades and shows and still works for Disney on occasion. After graduating from university with a 2:1 BA (Hons) Dance with Performing Arts, Poppy began her teacher training. She is currently working as a Primary School teacher as well as teaching ballet and contemporary classes for Jack Hunt.

Lora Teague

Lora started studying music and dance at the age of two. By aged ten Lora attended the Miller School of Dance in Norwich where she trained in all aspects of dance and musical theatre and gained grades 1 -8 ABRSM singing and piano.

After becoming British Ballroom Champion in 2006, she furthered her stuides of musical theatre at the London CDDT Performing Arts College qualifying as a teacher of performance and has since performed all over Europe in musicals such as Oliver, Titanic and The Lion King.

Lora also trained as a secondary school teacher in 2011.
