Children in Need and Anti Bullying Week

The pupils at Jack Hunt School have raised £1358.49 for two charities!

Children in Need and Anti Bullying Week

Throughout last week, students were encouraged to support an Anti-Bullying Week theme by wearing odd socks. The idea behind this was to show that everyone is different, unique and individual and gave students a chance to express themselves. At the end of the week pupils from years 7-11 participated in non-uniform day, whilst the sixth form and staff members got the chance to dress up to raise money for these two charities.

Some great costumes and characters were seen wondering around the school, from superheroes and fairies to giraffes and wolves.

The school raised a total of £1358.49, which will be split between the two charities.

Thank you to everyone who participated in the day and donated.
