    As you know, in June we received approval for the proposed MAT from the Eastern Region Headteachers’ Board and, with Governing Body final approval, the current timescale is that we hope to become a MAT on 1 December 2017.

    Jack Hunt students overjoyed with improved results, despite tougher exams

    Although there have been major changes to the English and Mathematics GCSEs to increase their rigour, Jack Hunt School is thrilled that their students have seen improved results overall. This is the first year of the new GCSEs in English Language, English Literature and Mathematics.

    Jack Hunt School hosted its annual junior day events on Wednesday 5th and Thursday 6th July 2017. These days allowed our future pupils to see some examples of what they will be getting involved with when they start with us in September.

    As the GCSE examinations come to an end, Jack Hunt enjoyed celebrating with our Year 11s after 5 years together.  With a range of student performances, films starring teachers and our very own Staff Carpool Karaoke, students were given a lively send off. 

  • This School Can

    On Tuesday 13th June and Thursday 15th June, Olympic swimmer Jo Jackson paid a visit Jack Hunt School to deliver two separate classes on swimming which were named "ThisGirlCan" and "ThisBoyCan". The two classes were held individually on the previously mentioned days covering a theory and motivational workshop alongside a practical swimming based workshop.
