  • Local ‘Secret Millionaire’ Inspires and Motivates Year 11

    On Monday 6 January, Year 11 students were invited to listen to and meet local ‘Secret Millionaire’ Mike Greene.  He was invited to talk to students following the recent mock exams to help motivate and inspire them on the long road ahead studying for the GCSEs they will take in the summer term.

  • Peterborough Schools Link with China to Boost Education For All

    Jack Hunt School, St John Fisher Catholic High School and Thorpe Primary School have been chosen to develop international links with China as part of a major new school twinning project to boost global education.


  • Falklands Veteran and Charity Campaigner Simon Weston OBE Awards Students at Presentation Evening 2013

    On Thursday 19 December, Jack Hunt School were delighted to welcome  inspirational speaker and author, Simon Weston OBE, to present awards and certificates at the annual Presentation Evening celebrating student successes and achievements in the 2012-13 school year.

  • The Hamper Challenge - Festive Fun Helps Charities at Christmas

    Jack Hunt School held its annual competition to design, create and fill Christmas Hampers.  Over 80 Tutor Groups produced spectacular hampers, in a variety of designs from Christmas Trees, Reindeers, Coca-Cola lorries and of course, Father Christmas made an appearance.

  • Announcement - Celebration Day 2014

    Throughout the year, we praise and reward our students to help reinforce our values and expectations.  Celebration Day is a chance to say a really big ‘Well Done’ to all of our pupils by offering the chance to try new activities or choose an out of school trip.  Watch the video to find out more about this years activities and how students can book their place.

  • Announcement - Take Over Day 2014

    Take Over Day 2014 will take place on Friday 7th february.  The aim of the day is to give students leadership and work shadow opportunities within Jack Hunt School or with our school partners. It offers students the chance to experience different work roles in local business and educational institutions.

    The Jack Hunt Jackals have once again retained the City / Divisional title in their hardest fought campaign yet. The team started the season with a solid defeat over Kings who have been our toughest competitors over recent years.

  • Deaf Student Wins Signature's Young Learner of the Year

    When guests entered the Bloomsbury Ballroom for the 2013 Signature Annual Awards it was like going back in time to a bygone era of glamour and sophistication.

    There was an air of excitement, everyone looked their best and the photographer busily captured the atmosphere of the evening. Guests were greeted with a drinks reception followed by dinner in the grand art deco style ballroom, which was decorated in a theme of black and gold.
