    Our Spanish Exchange went to Avilés in northern Spain between 14th and 23rd October, for the 5th consecutive year. 20 students in Years 8-11 participated, and were overwhelmingly positive about the whole experience.

    Jack Hunt Students have been lucky enough to take part in extra-curricular golf lessons. The funding to support the club has come from Sport Unlimited.

    Jack Hunt School students contributed to a successful medal haul by Peterborough City Rowing Club juniors at the British Indoor Rowing Championships on Sunday 22nd November 2009.

    Following a successful funding bid, the Football Foundation have awarded Jack Hunt School a £750 grant to replace its football goalposts.

    Jack Hunt School celebrated a double event on Friday 6 November 2009. The school participated in the 11 MILLION TAKEOVER DAY which is a national event and a chance for children and young people to work alongside adults.

    October 1st 2009 saw Jack Hunt School play host to the first ever Society Health & Development ‘Team Peterborough’ Diploma Day. Over 75 students from schools and colleges across Peterborough came together to witness the emergency services in action.

    Jack Hunt School students took time out from their studies to take part in the Peterborough School Sports Partnership’s official attempt to break the world record for continuously hooping for 2 minutes.  At 12.00pm 86 students started in their attempt where they were not allowed to touch or let their hoop drop to the floor.

  • Launch of ''Pledge Against Prejudice''

    On Thursday, 27th May, Sam Tuck and Ayisha Mahmood launched Jack Hunt’s ‘Pledge Against Prejudice’.
