    As part of Jack Hunt School’s 40th Anniversary celebrations, the Drama Department held a successful Performance Poetry Workshop and Evening for students, staff and the community on Thursday 11 March 2010 which over 100 people attended.

  • Jack Hunt School hosts Top Link Sports Conference

    On 11 March Jack Hunt School hosted a ‘Young People Leading the Way’ Top Link Conference for over 128 students from secondary schools across Peterborough and Cambridgeshire. The aim of the day was to train young people with the knowledge and skills to organise a sporting event at their own schools.

  • Bag Packing Raises Funds

    In an effort to raise money for students kit for fixtures, a group of girls from years 7 to 10 recently went to Morrisons supermarket to pack shoppers bags.

  • Sport Relief

    This week all students in each house ran the mile during lesson 5.  Two houses per day ran/walked the mile with their form tutor on the field.  An interhouse rowathon took place on Thursday this week too.  Each house had to have students from their house row all day.

    Our U13 Girls football team were selected to represent Peterborough United in the football league area finals in Colchester. We were up against strong opposition including Norwich City and Ipswich Town.

    Jack Hunt School continued their 40th Anniversary celebrations with four captivating performances of the Lerner and Loewe Musical ‘My Fair Lady’. This much loved show, packed with show-stopping tunes, is the musical theatre re-telling of a very old story, dating back to a Greek myth.

  • Regarde! Trip at The Courtauld Gallery

    On February 23rd a group of A level students from Jack Hunt, Thomas Deacon, Kings and St John Fisher visited the Courtauld Gallery in London, funded by Jack Hunt Language College. The students got to learn about French Impressionism, and got to view an impressive collection of paintings.

  • Launch of Disability Sports Club

    Jack Hunt School in partnership with Peterborough City Council has launched a disability sports club for hearing impaired students.  The Development Officer for Disability Sports leads coaching sessions for students to develop practical sports skills with a focus on enhancing communication.
