    The Deaf pupils from Jack Hunt school were invited by the County Disability Sports Forum to take part in the fourth youth Games PLUS.

    ‘Life & Deaf’ is a project, in which Deaf children explore their personal identity through poetry in written English and British Sign Language.

    Year 10 pupils have been involved in some forensic investigations this term. Pupils have been putting together crime scene investigation manuals and from this have been able to take the necessary steps to gather physical evidence of a crime scene.

    We took 30 students in Year 9 and 10 to Barcelona, Spain in May half term.

    Jack Hunt 6th Form students were exposed to the realities of traffic accidents with an eye opening and informative demonstration which was organised as part of the Year 12 Personal and Developmental Education Programme.

  • Olympic Athlete Supports Sports Leaders - May 2009

    Former Olympic Triple Jumper, Michelle Robinson, opened the first Jack Hunt School Top Link conference which was attended by 21 schools from Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.

  • Spring Music Concert - May 2009

    As usual the spring concert was performed to a house of excited parents. The concert began with the Jazz band performing a swinging version of Glen Miller’s In the Mood providing an arousing and foot-tapping opening.

    Year 13 student, furhaan Altaf has recently been awarded the Evening Telegraph's Pride in Peterborough Award in the category "Service to the Community".

    For the second year running, as part of our determination to support Year 11 students as they prepare for GCSE examinations, we ran an extraordinary revision week from 27 April – 1 May this year.

  • Sports Leaders Exchange To France - April 2009

    Following the success of last years sports leaders in Germany where they taught ‘Tag Rugby’ to 90 year 6 pupils, fourteen of our year 9 and 10 Sports Leaders travelled to Perpignan in the South of France in May where they taught Cricket to 60 year 7 French pupils.
