Presentation Evening 2022
With guest speaker Dai Greene
Jack Hunt School’s Presentation Evening was held on Tuesday 20 December.
All distinguished guests, governors, staff, parents and students were invited to the event with special guest speaker Dai Greene, Dai is a professional track and field athlete who specialises in the 400m hurdles and has represented Wales and Great Britain at the highest level. As well as these achievements on the track, Dai has been captain of the Great Britain athletics team on 3 occasions, most notably at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
A number of students received awards, particular recognition goes to Richard Kaseta who won multiple awards:
Richard Kaseta - Roy Duncan Award for the best A Level results, Mehta Trophy for showing the most promise in Science, Richard Marks Mathematics Award for showing the most promise in Maths and the Sue Titman Award in recognition of being in the Prefect Team 2021/2022.
Musical performances from students throughout the evening were of the highest quality and very enjoyable.
The event came to a close with a vote of thanks from Prefects Abbie Foreman and Lydia Allwood thanking Dai for his motivational and inspirational story that showed the importance of resilience and tenacity.
