JHS Students Step into STEM

Recently, JHS students participated in the Year 8 Steps into STEM programme at ARU Peterborough, a collaboration with STEMPOINT. This sustained initiative involves three visits to ARU Peterborough from May to July, focusing on Biomedical Sciences, Computing, and Engineering. The primary industry focus during this visit was construction. The students engaged with the Project Manager of the new Phase 3 ARU Building, competed in constructing a pyramid against two other schools—with Illia achieving the most accurate expenditure as the 'Surveyor'. Additionally, they toured the campus and interacted with current students.
