Year 7 Remembrance Exhibition

Each Year 7 student has created a Commemorative Cross or Postcard inscribed with their own personal message

Year 7 students are currently completing a Remembrance Project in their My World lessons. In honour of Remembrance Day, Jack Hunt School students have produced their own visible commemoration for those who fought and sacrificed their lives during World War 1 and all conflicts in the line of duty.

Each Year 7 student has created a Commemorative Cross or Postcard inscribed with their own personal message. The commemorations heavily feature Poppy flowers either drawn or physically made from different materials to go alongside their written messages or cross, as they symbolise both support for the sacrifices of our armed services and the hope for a peaceful future.

On 11 November 2020 staff and students joined the rest of the nation in holding a 2 minute silence.

Year 7 students are collecting voluntary donations of which all monies will be donated to charity including the National Poppy Appeal.
